Lycos Malt s.r.o. is one of the largest malt producers in Slovakia.
Quality First
With the aim of continuously improving malt quality, we implemented a quality management system in 2002 through the Bureau Veritas Certification program and the Best Supplier Quality Program, which includes research and development between breweries and the malt house. All major brewing groups, such as Asahi, Molson Coors, Heineken, and Carlsberg, have conducted audits at our facilities.
We achieve premium malt quality primarily through investments in technical equipment for various parts of the malt house, continuous improvement of laboratory facilities with the latest analytical equipment, ongoing staff training, and strict adherence to the quality management system. The malt production technology is continually consulted with renowned experts from the Research Institute of Brewing and Malting in Brno, Czech Republic.
